I have a 2025 Rebel X and thinking about just leveling the front with Bilstein 5100 shocks. Now can I do this and leave the rear stock? I don't want the rear to be any higher. Should I get new UCA'S also . How will it change my ride quality? I use the mainly on roads for trips no off road other than mild dirt roads...

Yes you can just change the fronts. From front to back they will not be valved the same but it isn't likely you'll notice. Then when the rears wear out swap them for Bilstein's. The rear shocks play no part in lift so no issue with the rear height. If you can get a decent alignment you do not need uca's. However, the labor cost to install uca's later will be several hundred dollars more than doing them at the shock install.

Exactly. Im assuming you have the 4600's. They are similar to the 5100's. When they wear out just replace with 5100's. You are gtg.

Did you end up installing 5100? And if so, did you upgrade your UCA?
Want to fit 295/70r18 on stock rims and concerned about UCA angle / CV angle and tire width clearance after install. Looking intently at the 5100 as the spacer lifts from Readylift / Rough country give me heartburn

No I have not yet sorry.

For me, The valving is not the same, plus my OCD would need to change all 4 corners with 5100's since they're different valving and color. Sucks on a new truck, but you might be able to sell the OEM setup to offset rear shocks cost. Plus this way, they all wear at the same rate.
