Biggest Tires on Stock 20’s

Hello everyone,

Anyone have any experience putting bigger on the stock 20 inch 9 wheels. The stock tires are 275/55R20. All the tires I see for sale are pretty much 12.5 wide, too wide for the stock 9 wheels?
I’m planning putting on a 2 inch level when I decide on the tires.

Recommend search this forum since there’s a lot of good posts/info on this subject already. To avoid suspension component and fender rubbing it’s highly recommend go no wider than 11.5-11.8” tires on our trucks.

On stock wheels anywhere from 11” to 12” wide will fit fine without rubbing. 12.5 - 13.5 wide will fit on the 9” wide rim fine and look great but you will probably need to do some trimming or wheel spacers. I am running 34x11 with the mopar level kit and off-road package springs (3” lift) and it fits great with no rubbing.

I just put on 275/60/20s with no level or lift and they fit fine, zero Issues.

My 275/65r20 rub in reverse full lock on stock wheels with bilsteins set at 2.1”. Every truck seems to be different.

I rub in reverse when doing a tight cut on a 2 inch level with 33x12.5
