I read somewhere that the Fox Acoustics warehouse burned down and orders were delayed. What’s a good alternative ? I had a foxbox in my gen 4 and it hit pretty hard with alpine type R’s....I was gonna go Sundown Sa12’s but the damn warehouse burned down I guess? Wtf Over

The one from Audiosavigs is pretty decent if you have a Crew cab, I bought one just to see if it would fit Quad cab but it doesn't, I ended up building my own, I took my time and it came out great i could fit 2 American Bass XR 10

A custom box tuned to 28hz. All the low bass you’ll want, plus some. Prob not enough room to make that happen unless you did single sub and aero port.

So what’s the final airspace on em? My woofers need 1.75 each and that fox box was the closest I’ve seen at 3.3 cu ft total ....I’m doing my best to avoid shallowmounts when the conventional woofers have advanced so much.

All i could get was 2.2 cf and that was with raising the seats 7/8", in my opinion and 35 years experience in amateur car audio it's not enough to port unless i make the port external which i can do easy but it sounds so good now that i'm not even gonna bother.

It’s not that uncommon. 32-33hz is the sweet spot for most builds. One of the ones I did years ago was a single BTL 12 tuned to 28hz on a zx2500..... that thing was fun.

You can barely year 28hz so tuning that low is a waste of energy, tuning at a certain frequency you will have a peak at that frequency but it also expand to the frequencies up and down spectrum ex: 28hz is peak, 20 is valley 36 is valley, 20hz is already subsonic hell 25 is subsonic for me, if you tune 35hz 27 is valley 43is valley, it's perfect for 98% of music tracks, no point in tuning a port more than 10hz below subwoofer FS.

Don’t feel like arguing. There is def a reason to do it. I’ve been professionally installing for 15 years now.
