Do you have an update?
Any pictures?Just finished installing my Bilstien 6112/5160 combo. Only went on a short 5 mile test drive, but they feel great. Very composed over bumps. You feel them, but at the same time it’s super smooth.
Installed them myself, so I’m out of pocket $1000 for pretty good setup.
Well. $1400ish since I had previously install some ReadyLift UCAs previously.
So how is the ride and what did you decide on? Looking at this set up or wait for 6112?Thanks for the input everyone, I really appreciate it. Here’s a small update:
1) I have ordered the Rough country 3.5” kit with the front struts and upgraded V2 mono tube rear shocks. Ordered through my shop, parts, labor and alignment: $1500.
2) Gibson has shipped my cat back system. Should be here Friday
3) wheels/tires: this is keeping me up at night. I think I’ve got it narrowed down so I’ll share what I have so far; (side note) I have to purchase through Discount Tire
Wheels:
1. Method nv605 black 20x9 -12 offset
2. Raceline gauge 950b 20x9 0 offset (leaning Towards these)
3. Black Rhino Barstow (black or bronze?) 20x9 +18 offset
4. Most interesting/unique: Fifteen52 Turbomac HD (co-designed by Ken Block) black or bronze 20x9 -12 or +18 offset
Tires:
1. General grabber Atx 35x12.5r20
2. Yokohama geolandar x-at 35x12.5r20
3. Cooper discoverer at max 35x12.5r20
4. Goodyear wrangler ultra terrain at 35x12.5r20
Ready to buy now, just have to decide
Mods: if I need to move this to a “build thread” please let me know.
