Hello..my name is Loren. So I have a 2016 Dodge Ram Quad cab. 4 months ago in June 2025 I had accidentally broken my back window shoving a 2x12 through. I paid $542 at Safelite to get it repaired. Last Tuesday I was driving down the highway and I heard this crackling noise behind me. The driver's side back window was shattering and a hole formed. I called Safelite about it and they said it's not covered under warranty. What?! Plus the price is now at $830. How does the price jump up $300 in 4 months??!!

It was the new window that was installed in June that shattered. And if course I talked with a safelite manager. She is the one that told me it was not under warranty....so do all their windows shatter 4 months down the road? So should I expect to have to replace this new one again??
