Ok so when I first purchased tge truck I kind of noticed this but assumed that this was just the body lines of the truck because the bed seems consistent on both sides. Multiple times now my wife has said "I keep thinking you were hit because the way it looks", I still shrugged it off. So a buddy of mine at work yesterday who also just bought a new Ram made the same exact comment to me about it looking like someone hit me which of course makes me only assume that his does not look the same. Without a reference or any other trucks that I can immediately look at I wanted to see what you guys think and how your bed to cab alignment compares. Thanks.

mines exactly like this as well..the back of the cab does have a contoured shape. i have noticed when i'm really looking at it that it does somewhat look like someone hit it.

Yes the bed is slightly narrower then the cab so it does not catch air, that said the bed/cab gap is one area I think Ram could improve on the looks. On my 2014 the bed was actually crocked and the dealer had to realign it.

Thanks you all for clearing this up. Im wondering if the aerodynamics in that area is worth compromising the cleaner looking body lines, in my opinion its doubtful

The Ram has a .357 drag coefficient (quad cab) which is actually...amazing for a pickup truck. I actually think its the most aero fullsize truck you can buy. Silverado 0.380, F-150, 0.360.

My 2019 looks just the same. As long as both sides are identical, then it's the design of the truck.
