Bed step on 2021 Longhorn won't move

I just picked up my new truck yesterday, love everything about it. Except the deployable bed step next to the trailer hitch will not move. I have stepped and bounced and pushed and pulled and even gave it a kick...and it just sits there, tucked under and mocking me. What's the secret?
Suggestions?

Yep. I've watched a bunch of videos...mine just stays wedged up tight and does not move a millimeter.

Wow, that's weird... I'd visit my dealer...

I just installed mine.. you have to pull it forward. Like your pulling yourself under your desk in a rolling computer chair. Forward and down

Got it....just got back from the dealership. It was stuck, and they unstuck it and made sure it wouldn't stick again.
