Bed mats for Ramboxes?

Got a pretty great used deal off Amazon for the full liner on my 2019. Don't think the previous owner did any modifications, but two things that were kind of odd for my fitting:

• The passenger sidewall is noticeably shorter than the driver side. Enough that I'm wondering if the previous owner did cut down the height. Driver side tucks way under the black rail, whereas the passenger side doesn't reach it. I thought maybe the rails were adjusted differently, and still have to play with that, but can't imagine that far off because rails should be pretty parallel for good tonneau cover fit? Difference could have been my install method of sidewalls, but I did the same thing and really tried to jam the zippered edges in the corner of flat and sidewall so things would be nice and tight.
• The tailgate cover seems shorter on mine than others. Upon first install I didn't have the J channel and after install realized I wouldn't have a good flat surface so called them for the channel which was shipped out promptly. Added it, but channel doesn't extent far enough for me to have any overlap with velcro if I put it on. So instead I just tucked the finished edge under J channel lip and used some of the velcro in kit to keep the corners down. Works pretty well actually but odd mine seems much shorter. I was initially going to try and really pull it towards tailgate because I noticed it on dry fit, but decided I'd rather get the ribs of sidewall in line than be half a rib off the whole way just to get it to tailgate edge.

Very happy overall though, and don't think I'll call bedrug...especially since technically the model isn't made for our generation with ramboxes. But anyone think I should? Given I already cut out lights and tie downs probably nothing to do, apart from feedback?

There are a couple of things to note though.

1) This rubber is thick. I used a straight edge to mark the cut and then used a utility knife to do the cut. The job took me about 20 minutes and I went through both sides of one blade.

2) The mat's cutting from the factory is not great. In my picture you can see in the tailgate edge that there are some loose strands there. I didn't cut that, that's how it came from Mopar.

3) This is probably the worst one. The tailgate mat that comes with this kit is not compatible with this tailgate unless you drill into it. I left mine off because I don't want to start drilling into a leased truck. Also worth noting that the cover's top holes, which should align with the tailgates top black screws, don't align perfectly. The holes on the mat are maybe 1-3 cm off from the holes, which means that you need to make a new hole to make it fit. You could technically drill the mat for the top holes and then use something like heavy duty velcro to secure the bottom flap, without drilling through the tailgate.

The mat with the logo looks pretty good if you're able to not pay attention to the imperfections of the factory's cut or your cuts, but with my result I'm not entirely sure it is worth the trouble. Some people in this thread were recommending Tractor Supply rubber mats or Lowes mats. If I had to do this again, I would at least entertain the idea which might save me $150 or so.

Actually your bed mat, which you had to cut for fitment, looks pretty good in your truck despite the hassle presented. I too, went back and forth with Mopar and they continue to state their bed mat, with the same product number you showed, fits trucks with the RamBox configuration. They leave out the need to cut for fitment in trucks with RamBox. However, after seeing your final outcome I may give the Mopar bed another look. Thanks for posting your picture and what and how you did cut for a good fit.

Yea, fits perfectly everywhere. Need to cut the holes for the tie downs, but that's always the case.

The main floor is perfectly contoured, the tailgate is just flat carpet without and contouring/foam padding.

Pictures show the 4gen rambox Bedrug installed in my 2020 Bighorn (BTS) rambox 5'7" bed. The wrinkles you see on the wall smoothed themselves out within a day or so. These pics were taken immediately after installing it.

where did you get your Bedrug from and do you have a part number. I have a 2022 Big horn with ram box. Thank you.
