I was wondering what people's opinions are on the MOPAR drop in bed liners? I was considering Line-X but was thinking maybe a drop in bed liner would be good.

Can I just say I hate the fact that bed liners are NOT standard equipment. :cautious:

There have been a few threads about this. I've had drop in liners in past trucks, and in some ways I like them. Very rugged and hold up to abuse well. Less costly than a spray in liner. But in other ways I don't like them. Eventually pull away from the bed. Gravel and other things can work their way underneath it. They can trap moisture and cause rust. Disposal of one for whatever reason. In the end I opted for the spray in liner. I agree that they should be standard equipment, but there are those who, for whatever reasons, don't want one.

I've had trouble with my drop in liner rubbing away my paint where the tailgate meets the bed. Check out this thread...

Thank you both. I'm sorry I skimmed the forum quickly for a bed liner topic. I should have dug a little deeper. I think I'm going to stick with my original plan which was to do Line-X.

Thanks for the input and the link for the other thread.
