Before you say anything, I know this is the 5th gen site. I have a 2019 Ram 3500 but I was wanting some opinions on a 1998 Dodge 2500 flatbed. This truck is my “workhorse”- I use it every single day of the year to feed and work with. I am considering having someone spray bed liner on the cab portion. The 12 valve diesel runs like a beast and I plan on using it for many more years. The cab is in really good shape considering it being a 98 with almost 300,000 miles! Love the truck. What are yalls idea on bed liner being sprayed on it?

A buddy used the Raptor Line, tentable on his jeep several years ago, inside and out. Not sure if it was a kit option or how he applied it but it is not as ruff as a typical rino bed liner. He said it was easy to apply and he's been very happy with the results.

I wouldn't have a problem with it. That truck was made before they started messing with diesel truck emissions and will probably run forever. My vote is to fix any rust spots and coat it with bed liner.

Yep- none of the emissions at all- it is straight piped and rumbles down the road
