Bed Divider Needed for Hauling Smaller Items

That works fine when it's just me, but I have a family of four. Having all the usable space in the bed was what had me wanting a pickup in the first place. I'm just looking for the best ways to utilize that space so I don't have fruits and veggies rolling around as I drive home

I have one of these, which works great and fits various spots in the bed.

I leave it at the back and put a couple of HD totes up against it. I also bought the "divider bar" but I think you could easily just use a wood clamp and accomplish the same thing

BED EXTENDER ALL THE WAY!! IMO it's the most essential add-on for the bed. I went with the amp research bed extender HD. I use it on a daily basis. It's worth every penny. You won't regret it!

I bought a trunk organizer for groceries...has 4 slots that are about 14"x14"...

This is my first pickup and I am looking for advice from more seasoned pickup owners. I need a way to carry smaller items in the bed without them sliding everywhere. The most common purpose would be hauling groceries home from the shops. What are you guys using? Is there a must have bed divider you guys like?

Do you have backseat passengers when you are doing this? Groceries normally get loaded on the floor of the rear cabin for me. One of the big benefits of the flat floors.

I installed a AMP Research BedXTender. Had it on a few other trucks as well. Not only does it provide a trunk-like compartment in the bed, it will also extend the bed by about 2 feet.

I used some light wood and covered it with carpet to match the bed rug. It is hinged in the middle for easy removal and storage when not needed. I cut a groove in a short PVC pipe and painted it black. The pipe slides over the swivel point to keep the board rigid during use. I cut the total length a little longer that the inside bed width for a tight fit when locked in place.
