BDS 4” lift on 2019 Ram Rebel, 20x10 -24 Satin Black XD Grenade Rims, 35x12.5R20 Toyo RT tires. Minor trimming required to prevent rubbing.

Initial thoughts ... I love it. Rides just like stock and couldn’t be happier with the stance. Aggressive with just the right amount of poke in my opinion. Also running Borla S-Type, MOPAR off-road running boards, and Gator retractable tonneau.

Selling my stock 2019 Ram Rebel wheels and tires (no TPMS) in excellent condition taken off at 9k miles for $1000 OBO if anyone interested. Located in SWFL.
Truck looks awesome! I emailed BDS to see if they plan on doing a coil over 4” but no reply.

Thanks! That would be awesome if they do. I know a lot of folks would love a 4” coil over option. Especially since BDS is the only company that really offers a true 4” lift for our trucks. Snagged a few more pics.

Sorry for the ignorance but I keep seeing random answers to this on the forums. A 4 inch lift would just add 3 inches with the rebel right? And the BDS can be used off road correct?

This lift would add 2” to the rear and 4” up front to a Rebel or a truck with the off-road package. The rear replaced the springs. The front uses the stock strut assembly with a 4” spacer.

do you think you would still need that minor trimming if you went with a different offset? Asking because I am looking at this lift kit, and dont want to do any trimming and fit 35 inch tires.

Does your truck sit level with that 4" kit or is it a little front high? Hard to tell in the pictures but it kind of looks like the front sits a little higher?!? Also, can you give some measurements of how high off the ground your wheel wells are now, to give me an idea of how much higher mine would sit with the 4" kit

Do you have a Rebel or off-road package? The reason I ask is the truck will sit higher with those packages and you may be able to achieve more offset. As far as if I went with less offset... I’m not sure if trimming would still be required, but I know most people run -18 offset with a 10 inch rim. -12 is also a popular option. I would say with the -18 you would still need to remove the OEM mud flap. As far as if you would need to trim the small metal tab in the rear of the fwd wheel wells I’m not sure. Checkout custom offsets as they have tons of set ups and people will list if they had to trim.

I measured from the ground to top of fender. Up fwd I see 43” even and in the rear 43 1/8”. So it’s pretty level with a hint of rake. Hope that helps.

I assume you mean top of the fender opening? I've got a Laramie with the ORP, you're talking about 4" taller in the rear than I have and over 5 inches taller in the front. Seems like a lot more than I would've guessed.

I thought about it some more. I guess it's closer than I thought. I re-measured. I have no lift other that the ORP. I'm at almost exactly 37 in front and 39 in the back. I would've guessed you'd be closer to 42.5 in both the front and the back. 37+4+1.5 and 39+2+1.5 is my math. Just interesting. Thanks for posting.

Here’s a pic. And yes I meant top of fender opening. I forgot to take pre measurements, but I know some people have said they have saw over 4” in the front with BDS. At one point I did measure the rake and from memory thought it was just under 3” on my truck. So since it’s pretty level I’m very happy with how it came out.

Excellent. Thanks. The truck looks great and this is very helpful. I'd love to do this, I'm just not sure if it'll fit in my garage. I've actually cosnidered swapping out my ORP front springs for the standard springs to leave a little more rake for when I go camping. Kind of the opposite of what so many have done on here!

Needless to say, I'm jealous! Just wish my garage door was a couple inches taller.

I just did the fit test for the garage for the first time. I have a 7ft garage and it surprisingly fits! Was a little sketchy first go around but I estimate the shark fin antenna had about a quarter of an inch of clearance.

Yikes. Mine should be 7ft, but it measures 6'10". But the driveway is tilted away, so it increases my clearance a bit. I measure about 5" of clearance from the shark fin. Not much room if you're getting 6 inches of lift over mine. So I figure if I swap out the ORP springs with the stock springs and go with 295/60R20s I'd drop that 6" gain to roughly 4.5" in front and get about 3.5" of lift in the back. That'd give me an average of 4" of lift, so I should have 1" to spare. I'd probably keep the ORP springs just in case or go to 35s the next time.

So just to be more exact I measured the clearance of my garage since it is a 7ft garage, but has rubber weather stripping that hangs down. The height to the weather stripping is 82 and 1/4 inches and it fits in my garage without hitting the weather stripping.
