What exactly is cleared when the battery reset is performed? I was going to do this to increase throttle response, but will it reset the tire size to stock? The dealer reprogrammed the truck for the new size tires.

Wait your dealer was able to problem another sized tire to your vehicle ?

My dealership said they can change the tire size as well but only to other Ram stock sized tires that are their system.

Oh ok now that makes more sense lol, as I was about to ride out to my dealership..

I only went up to a 275/60/R20. Anyway does anyone have any insight on the original question?

Still experiencing the lag when accelerating. Hoping someone can shine some light on the OP.

Wondering if disconnecting the battery for sometime clears all the DTCs for the different modules in the truck.

Try doing a negative battery reset..It worked on mine.

That is my plan, I just was not sure how much of the settings that it wipes out, in other words, would it erase my settings that were programmed for the new tire size and default back to the factory tire size or is that a setting that the battery reset does not affect.

I just did the Negative battery reset. Removed the negative terminal connection and let it sit for about 20 minutes. Put it all back together. Felt no lag when accelerating from stop as I was feeling before.

DOES anyone know if the lag returns over time? Or is this a permanent fix?
