Looking for advise and help. I have a 2019 Limited with 60,000 miles on it. The truck sat for five days after I started driving a few miles all my lights started blinking alarms etc. I had the truck towed to the nearest Ram dealer they said I had a bad battery had them change the battery still no luck, than they said I had a bad ETorque motor took two weeks to get an ETorque motor. That didn't work now they said its the battery pack which is taking another week hoping to get that this week than I hope that's it.

First the dealer said none of this was under my Ram extended warranty or the emissions warranty after calling the dealer I purchased the truck from he verified it was under the emission warranty. After all that the dealer who has the truck (out of town dealer) decided the parts are now under the emission warranty but I need to pay the freight for the parts.

First question do you think I need to pay for the battery wasn't the problem?
Do I pay the freight for the E Torque motor wasn't the problem?
I cant believe Ram doesn't offer a rental vehicle they have had this truck for a month.
Has anyone had these issues?
Doesn't FCA look after there dealers and make sure they are taking care of there customers?
Last Ram for me I love the truck but not reliable for 70K

You shouldn't have to pay anything for this as that is part of the warranty. I would call up FCA and get a case manager on this. @RamCares might be able to help as well. Ram doesn't do rentals as that isn't part of the warranty, that is a dealership thing.

Do you think all Franchises look after their stores to make sure they are making all the customers happy? FCA, Chevy, and Ford are basically all the same. You get some good and some bad service departments but they continue to sell cars.

Other than this issue, what else have you had wrong with it? Basically this is a poor job by the service dept to diagnose your main issue to get it fixed in 1 shot. No matter if you pay $30k or $120k something can go wrong with electrical parts but to say this isn't reliable seems like you have had other issues as well.

Probably, that's why they have you sign the paperwork before they start.

No.

No those are dealer specific not from RAM

Sorry, I am a diesel guy.

Yes and no. Get ahold of RAM Cares and start a case. Once they are involved the dealer will know people are paying attention.

Sorry to hear that. It's one service department, not the brand, and if covered under warranty wouldn't that be fair?

X2 on Elko's responses.
Well at least the parts replacers, I mean mechanics figured out it was the ET system as opposed to putting in a new rear end... You'd think all the fancy tech dignosis equipment could have steered them in the correct direction a wee' bit quicker.
Replacing a battery probably wasn't such a bad idea what with the number of them being reported going south.

I had break noise issues, had issues with the memory on the 12” screen, one of the ram boxes is warped. There are really nice things as well it's not all bad. And you are correct my normal dealer is great.
