Banks Pedal Monster firmware update loop.

Guys,
I got so tired of the pedal lag that I purchased the Banks Pedal Monster. Installation went fine but as soon as I launched the app it stated I needed a firmware update. Went through the update and then went through another update and lastly went through another update to .18 (if memory servers me correctly). Now each time I lauunch the app it wants to update to .18. Takes about a couple of minutes states successful and then restart the hardware and yet again wants to update the firmware. Any ideas?

Id delete the app completely and start from scratch.

I also think there is a factory reset button on the device itself? I just put one in and I feel like I saw it on there.

I think if deleting the app and trying from scratch, doesn’t work reach out to banks and see what they have to say.

I keep mine set to city 4 and it is absolutely a night and day improvement. The pedal lag is all but gone, but I can still drive normal without feeling like I’m punching it every single time off the line.

I ran one on my truck for a about a year and I loved it, but a few months back I had to take mine off my truck as it was continually throwing a throttle position code and check engine light which would put my truck into limp mode with no throttle response. I initially tried to reset it but it would never fully reset so I removed it and deleted the app. I will attempt to reinstall it again here in a few days in hopes that it was an issue with the app or firmware.

I can't believe I waited this long to do this. I have mine set on City 5 and it is such a drastic and dramatic change and makes the truck drive like it should. I absolutely love this device as I was about to trade my truck off it was so laggy and slow. If you can afford this device you'll not regret the change. I'll see if mine throws a code but the Banks Pedal Monster isn't supposed to do this. I've heard a lot of reports that the Pedal Commander does this due to the parasitic power robbed from the gas pedal.

Yes, I've had mine 2 years now and love it. Never any codes or issues.

Wow. I tried Sport 1 and couldn't get used to it. It would chirp the wheels every time I took off.
