Just knocked out my revolver X4 install on my Laramie with Rambox.

I know there were issues in early production but that has been resolved.

Mine was produced after February 15th FYI.

Use lots of WD40 and be patient the rails will slide in. You will also need 2 people to do it safely.

Best!

Looks good, hey does the cover touch the lids when they’re up at all? Could you please show any more pics you have. Thx

Got the same cover sitting in my garage waiting for my truck to get to the dealer.

I will take some more pictures tonight if you'd like. I will get as many angles as possible.

Thx, good clear photos. I have the revolver on my 12 Ram 3500 with out Rambox and overall happy. Hail storm destroyed my Backflip

I tried to install my MX4 over the weekend and there is no way I can get those rails to slide on. I used silicone lube, extra hands, light hammer, etc. I either have the wrong rails or am incompetent (and don't like either answer).

That has happened in the past.

when was the build date?

and I encourage you to reach out to both the company you purchased from and BAK directly. They have really good customer service and will ensure you get the updated rails.

best,

best,
My build date was 12-18. TFO has not been available by phone all day. I sent an email to Shaun early this am and have not heard back from him either

weird shaun has always been responsive. and with that build date I believe you have the wrong rails. have you contacted BAK? that should be your next step.

Shaun replied and Bak is sending out new rails. It's ridiculous that they can't get this right but hopefully the replacements will work

They have gotten it right, you received new old stock (ie: something that was sitting on the shelf). I ordered from Truck Alterations last week and my MX4 arrived this week with a build date of 3/1/2019 so I’m expecting mine will already have the new rails. Waiting on the dealer to fix my truck before I can tell for sure.

I was looking at getting one of these however the website says the silver cargo rails should be silver. My rails are black. Does anyone know what the difference is? Why would I have black one's?
thanks

I believe the black rails are if you had the factory tonneau cover

I imagine that I would need to buy new rails then if I want to ditch the OEM cover. Anyone with part numbers please list them if you get a chance.
