My dealership said to keep driving my 2021 RAM 1500 while waiting on a new MGU that's failing. I'm on my 2nd new battery in 2 months now and I suspect the MGU is causing new batteries to fail. For those that had to drive their vehicles with a failing MGU will it keep ruining batteries?

Yes ..took 9 weeks to get my parts..the repeated discharging and recharging with battery charger at night ruined my battery. Btw the MGU is covered under 8 yr emission warrenty..No charge to replace my 21 Bighorn Hemi E Torques

Stellantis is no help on finding a part or any estimate on how long it's down. Selling my RAM this week, can't do it anymore.

I managed to get a Stellantis cs rep who actually got right on it after weeks of me calling with no results.. She foind one and I had it in 2 days..Dealer fixed it the next day..free under 8 yr emission warrenty

Which battery is getting ruined? I assume the 12V under the hood battery (rather than the 48V behind the rear seat)?

I’ve got a 2021 ETorque, so far no issues, but I wonder if my time will come.
