Hello,

New to this site, and first post. I just purchased a 2020 Laramie and it has all the sensors for parking and backing up. Today I put my bike rack on the hitch and when I returned home and went to back up into my driveway the safety sensor kept coming on and would apply the brake. I had to remove the bike and the bike rack in order to drive in.

Is there anyway to temporary disable that feature in order to back up with bike and rack installed. ?

Front/rear sensor switches are right under the screen, lower right (I think)

You can also disable the auto braking feature in the menus somewhere. I got tired of having a heart attack every time it saw something invisible behind me

This is what I did. Then you still get the warning sensor but no whiplash braking.

I'm surprised the sensor doesn't turn back on after you restart, our Ford did.
