Anybody using it? And how accurate is it?

Initial reviews indicate that its fuel consumption is decent for its class, but, of course, real-world mileage depends significantly on driving conditions (city vs. highway, load, etc.). Under light driving (just commuting, no heavy load), the displayed mpg or fuel-usage figures seem quite close to what people actually get. If you push the truck (towing, off-road, AC blasting, heavy payload), those estimates tend to drift a bit — actual usage is higher. Track your own usage for a month or two to see real numbers (fuel used vs miles driven) so you can calibrate your own “real” mpg.
Ummmmm?????

My 21 Laramie I got a month ago has the trailer steer assist, but I have not messed around with it enough to calibrate a trailer and test it out. Hopefully will get the time soon to try it out.

I find the camera is all I need. I select rear only to get close then I zoom in for the last foot or so. Can hook up by myself without issue.

It’s awesome if you take the time to learn to use it.

Is this a newer feature only in the 26 models? In my 23 I have that silly little dial in my center console that I can use to back up but as far as I’m concerned, that’s only there for my wife because she doesn’t have a lot of experience backing a trailer… not saying that to be insulting, but it just seems unnecessary once you get used to doing it on your own

Most folks don’t backup with trailers very often which makes the back up control feature handy. It takes a 1 minute YouTube video to learn to use it and you back up with a trailer like you do it every day.

I remember the good old days were you placed your hand on the bottom of the steering wheel and turned in the direction you wanted the trailer to go.

I've managed for 40 years without it.
Just wanted opinions and if I am using it right.
Seems I can do just as good with just the backup camera and not bother with the little dial thingy.
