Hello everyone. I actually joined the site a couple years ago, but haven't been here in a while. I generally don't spend a lot of time online, so that's about it. I just bought my 6th Ram in the past 30 years. My first new truck was a 1996 with a 318 (5.2). After that it was a 2002, a 2012 Express, a 2017 Express, and then 2021. I ordered the 2021 speced out just the way I wanted it, and then my son wrecked it back in February, so I finally just replaced it with a 2022. This truck has exactly the same packages as my 2021, but the few changes they made are pretty frustrating. As silly as it seems, no power folding mirrors really irks me. The other main difference is the Uconnect 5 instead of 4. That's a biggie. I have a few questions, and I'll try to spend a little more time here. Thanks for the information.

Welcome, and congrats! Factory options can be added after the fact, and there are many threads on here outlining how to do that. Here’s one example of a popular thread about adding Blindspot monitoring.

Thanks djevox. I'm definitely going to slowly dip my toe in some changes. I guess I'll go ahead and get the AlfaOBD, I'm just nervous about majorly screwing something up. I've still got my 2017 Ram as a work truck, and my wife has a 2020 Grand Cherokee, so I'm sure I'll find plenty of use for it once I figure it out.

Welcome to the forum.
Thanks. I see you're in Canada. When I was looking for a truck I came across a Canadian version. It was a sport, but it looked essentially like a US Night version. It also had some nice features like ventilated seats that you don't usually see on US Bighorns. Sadly, I confirmed with RamCare that the warranty would be no good to me here, so I had to pass.

Up here they classify the Sport the same as a Rebel . Window stickers say Sport / Rebel lol totally different trucks .

Weird. Other than the obvious differences required by laws, you'd think they would keep things pretty much the same. I grew up in a logging family, so was around trucks a lot as a kid. Some of the guys had Mercury log trucks and everybody called them Canadian Fords.
