Hi not sure if this has been asked here before but I am looking into getting a cam, headers, and ported heads. I was quoted 10k parts & labor and almost fell out of my chair seems kind of high to me any thoughts?

How much more is a 6.4 swap? 😜

What components did they quote you?
How much was labor?
Does it include any before and after dyno time and tuning?

Just seeing it written as $10k sounds high, but not enough info to say one way or another.

I would have a tough time spending that money, but it doesn't sound like you're being gouged.

When my 2015 cam & lifters went, both the dealership and my preferred shop quoted $4400-$4700. It sounds like that price is in line since you're getting performance replacements parts instead of the OEM that I was quoted. The headers w/cats also sounds like a good price based on what they retail it for on their website:

Damn, I used to charge $700 to do a cam, springs and pushrods swap, it was a 6 to 8 hour job.
I would go for the supercharger instead.

Yes that what i figured around 1000 to install. They jay greene cam kit im looking at is around 2000 with everything needed. So that means I’d pay 2800 in just labor. That whipple is starting to sound like the best bang for my buck
