I have a 2019 ram 1500 with push button start. Will the truck automatically turn off after a certain time if I forget to push the button off? Thanks.

Yes it will. The timer controlling runtime duration is variable, and somehow interfaces with the fuel gauge...

It will not if you’ve actually pushed the start button on dash. It will shut off if you remote start the vehicle and have not hit the dash button within a certain amount of time.

If you use the remote start, then it will shut off after 15 minutes. If you use the push start, then I don’t believe that it will shut off until it runs out of gas... but not 100% certain.

Not sure who it was, but a manufacturer has added auto idle shutoff as a feature in their HD trucks. I don't believe the 1500 will do this. Maybe a feature tazer can add.
