Credit Unions, at least around here, always require membership before you can use their services, including auto loans. For ours, we just had to open a savings account with at least $20 in it. Best interest rate short of a 0% finance deal through Chrysler Capital when they run those promotions.

^^ What?

Not sure what the above post is trying to say as currently, used cars are still over priced and buying new could still be a better option.

Regarding loan rates, posting about them doesn't really work as everybody's financial status is different and rates are based on your credit. The same bank may offer different rates to 3 people looking to buy the same product because of credit history.

Well, it all depends on what you are buying the car for. If you are buying a car for personal use, you should buy a used car as they cost much less than a new car. Given the type of car that you want, you can always find a used one in the very same model. But if you are buying a car for business purposes, you should buy a new one as it is a tool of your trade. You should keep in mind that you are paying the loan for the car and not for the car itself. So even if you find the same car with a cheaper price tag, you should not go in for that car. The car should not be more than 7 years old and should have maximum of 50000 miles. If you need more information about auto loans visit here.
