I hope a future OTA update makes my auto door locks actually work. I have them turned on but they do nothing.

My truck did the same thing. dealer had to use their scan tool to correct. documentation

There will not be an OTA update to update this. They don't do OTA updates on the BCM, only on Uconnect software.

That won't do anything for this issue. Only thing the Uconnect system does for this is provide the option to turn it on and off.

Isn’t that an option in the settings?

I recently replaced my battery, and although I have my factory retractable running boards set to “store”, (because my truck is lowered) they began deploying when the door was opened. The selection in the menu would not let me make any changes to that setting (auto or store). I performed a soft reset by holding down the radio power button until it reset and that did not work. So, I performed a hard (complete) reset of the Uconnect system. After that, the running boards stopped deploying.
