Auto climate control shuts off

When i set my climate control to auto, and the fan is blowing full cold air, it will randomly shut down the fan to off as if I hit the climate off. This has happened multiple times now. Each time it happens when shifting into reverse or drive. It will start up again after 15 seconds. It seems to occur on very hot days. Has anyone else experienced this?

My remedy has been to shut off auto climate and put it on manual then reverse/go into drive, then put it back on auto. Quite annoying.

Try disabling the auto start stop feature if you have etorque and see if it fixes it.
