Any guesses as to what this will run in terms of repair costs? I appear to have taken a rock to the A pillar on the freeway.

The A pillar appears to be part of the cab/body (at least at initial glance). I'm guessing this isn't the cheapest dent to fix due to that, but hopefully someone with better knowledge of this part can help me better understand what I'm in for before getting it to a shop this week for an estimate.

I would find a good autobody shop who offer paintless dent repair.....those guys are worth their weight in gold. They may be able to fix the paint as well without too much hassle. I had a deer run into the side of my old truck and I took it to a shop to get it repaired. The dent covered areas where there were creases in the door panel, and I was worried if they would be able to fix it. After the fellow was done his repair, he called me and was very apologetic....he said he felt it was 95% repaired and just couldn't seem to get it any better. So I went to the shop with a lump in my stomach over it and when I saw the truck, I asked the guy if he was joking. There was no way I could tell what he was talking about. It looked perfect. I put my eyes down the door and I couldn't see any wrinkle, warp, fold, dent, bump or whatever. Scratches had been buffed out as well. I guess to his trained eye it wasn't "perfect", but to me, it absolutely looked perfect and there was no way I could tell where the damage had been. Give it a go....maybe they can help find a less expensive fix for you.
