I am a new member who joined the forum with my purchase of 2026 white Lonestar 2wd. Coming from other car forums, I am used to members venting and sharing their issues/concerns about their vehicles. But it feels like there’s just a lot more of issues/concerns than not among the 5th gen owners, especially those who own the 2024-26 model regardless of the trim level.

My truck has 250 miles on it now and sometimes CarPlay cuts out, and one of the USB-A ports does not work in the center media area. Overall, I like the truck. So I want to see how other members feel about their trucks despite issues they may have. Thanks.

I bought my Big Horn new in 2019 with the Hemi and without the etorque. I had one item replaced within the factory warranty, a heater blower box in the dash. The driver's side sideview mirror no longer heats up when I put on the defroster. I only have 58k miles on it, but other than that, it's been rock solid for me. I keep my vehicles for 10 years or 100k miles, then look to get a new one. Reading through this forum, I feel very fortunate with the reliability I have experienced.
 
Had mine for 6 years and 53,000 miles. I like mine more the less I care about it, if that makes any sense. It's not the "forever" truck I hoped for, but a lot of that is on me for not doing enough research into which trim I really wanted. It's mechanically sound, but there have been annoyances like several water leaks, lousy AC, broken header bolts, and weak stereo. Now that I'm the DGAF stage of ownership it's very liberating, like the last day of school.
 
Bought my 19' Tradesman ORG in 20' with 18k on it. Now have 81k on it and love it! Only issues I've had is both manifolds cracked (replaced under warranty), third brake light leak (fixed myself with thicker seal), bolt broke off on flange just before muffler (fixed myself, drilled out both and put stainless bolt/nuts). Only ongoing problem I'm having is getting the service locker system warning coming on but it's completely random and hasn't come on in 6 months now. Every vehicle is going to have problems but it's been a great truck.
 
It is a nice truck. Bought it used, need to take care of a recall and have a problem with the lock on one door (electrical issue). Again, it is a nice truck.

I picked a Ram because I did not want squeaking rear springs on a Ford, was looking at Ford because I could not afford (justify) a Chevy Silverado. For the price point, the Ram won out over the Chevy for me. Even with a Ford costing much less than a Ram, I could not go that way.

So admittedly the Ram was my second choice, still a nice truck and happy with it so far (a bit over a year of driving it daily)
 
We bought our 21 Ram Laramie (new) specifically as a tow vehicle for an RV we bought. Now the RV is gone, but the Ram is still here. We don't have much use for a truck, or even a third vehicle, since we're both elderly now and don't go much of anywhere. I ride a motorcycle 90% of the time, and the wife can't drive a truck; she stays in her Chevy Bolt EV.

As for the truck, it has almost 40k miles on it after 4.5 years ownership. It has had absolutely no problems, except very recently I got a tiny amount of water in from the back window area during a cyclonic rainstorm that I drove thru for 100 miles. It probably is coming in thru the window, as the upper brake light shows no signs of leak.

And that's it. No problems. The truck is a dream to drive. Power like crazy compared to either of my F150s, which were slugs by comparison. The interior is plush, comfortable, a joy to sit in as I drive. The truck is quiet like a luxury SUV. Everything works. Love it!
 
Happy as I can be with a truck I didn't really want to get. I loved my Titan, but I needed a full size back seat for kids. Bought it new with 40 miles on it Feb 2020 right before COVID hit. It was the best priced, best optioned, best looking truck on the market at the time. Nissan was the same price range, but I hated the newer Titans and the tech in them runs about 10 years old. Ford, Chevy, Toyota I was spending 8-10k more for the same truck.

I'll have roughly 80k miles after 6 years of ownership, and other than the back window leak (fixed under warranty) it's been solid. OEM battery lasted almost 6 years (Nov 2019 - Sep 2025). It's handled 1000 mile road trips very comfortably, the Hemi runs great, and so far I've only dealt with minor annoyances outside the water leak.

I've done all maintenance on it myself. The oil filter location is idiotic, but there's plenty of room in the engine bay for me to move around. Coming up is suspension overhaul and maintenance, body mount replacement, and some of the older fluids I haven't changed yet.

It was fancy at first, but I'm coming to really dislike the vertical screen as you have to look down really far and take your eyes off the road. I'd rather have a shorter and wider screen with AC vents below or something similar to a lot of other vehicles with wider screens.

I have a 24 Frontier and wanted to get a bigger brother, Titan, but unfortunately 2024 was the last year for Titan. Hoping it’ll come back in the future despite not completely up to par with other half ton trucks on paper. But I love the proven Nissan V8.

18K on my 2025 Laramie and very happy with the purchase. I can't say there is another truck out there that I would rather have. I just wish the SPAK would be released!

The VK56 is freaking bullet proof. I loved that engine even though I only got 13mpg. With headers, exhaust, tune it pulled that 6000 pound truck harder at 160k miles than the Hemi does in the Ram. I doubt Nissan will ever get back into the full size truck market. They may try to make the Frontier a "3/8 ton" like the XD is a "1.5 ton".

I've been happy with the Ram, and I am eagerly awaiting the Ramcharger/REV as well as the amount of competition it's spawned. Hoping it's just not 120k for the truck. Current truck hasn't made me a "Ram for life" guy, but I have very few complaints.
 
62,000 miles on my 2022 and other than a bad starter which I changed myself along with the typical Uconnect issues it’s been flawless.

Last three RAM’s (2013,2017 and 2022) have had a combined 295,000 miles and never had a warranty claim or ever even been in the shop for anything other than basic software updates from recalls. Replacing the starter on my 2022 was the first failure of a factory part I’ve ever had on a RAM other than brakes which I do my own and of course tires. Pretty much gas em’ up, change the oil when needed and drive the heck out of them.

I can’t complain at all. RAM’s have been very good to me. I don’t baby them at all so I’m as surprised as anyone how well they hold up. I won’t be buying anything else anytime soon.
 
My 21 BH 5.7 (non e torque) has been the best vehicle I’ve ever owned. It’s quiet/comfortable/speedy enough/handles my normal towing like a champ all while returning better mpg than most typically see with a 5.7.

It had some leaky CV joints replaced under warranty right at 60k. Otherwise the only issues to date are below

Rusted exhaust bolt (cat pipe to muffler pipe)
Active air dam gears failed (just removed it)
Broken bracket for drivers sun visor.
The rearend has made a little noise only at 62 mph since around 50k. I just switched it to 75-140 and it’s way quieter. Hopefully just some odd gear wear pattern. When it’s time I’ll go rebuilt with limited slip.

Just flipped 101k on the way to work this morning. It is a low spec bighorn so it avoids a lot of the typical issues with the larger U connect and rear window leak etc.
