I'm looking around for Night edition mirror caps, but the only black caps are 6RP45KXJAA and 6RP44KXJAA. These seem like Diamond Black which I believe is a gloss finish. The mirror caps on my 22' are like a matte black.

Isn’t it the same non painted caps that are on some of the lower trims?
They might not sell replacement caps that are already painted. You might just have to take some unpainted ones down to the bodyshop and have them sprayed, which could be difficult without being overcharged since most bodyshops want that big $$ collision repair. If thats all you’re trying to have painted I would do it myself using automotivetouchup.com. Sand the texture smooth, primer, wet sand smooth, base/clear, wet sand, polish buff.

looks like you are correct. i just threw out a set off my old bighorn
Since Night Edition is available on almost all trim levels you might want to be more specific which trim level you have. The mirror caps on the Night Edition Limited are Diamond Black.

This. My Laramie Night Edition is also Diamond, I guess I thought that they all were.
I have a 22' Granite Crystalat Bighorn trim.
I'll have a look at that link when I get home today.
Edit: I did find them on that site, described as unpainted, black molded. Part #s, 68402098AA and 68402099AA. Thanks for the help everyone.

the set's i got cost me 80 plus shipping and took about 2 weeks to get to me. perfect match both times. OEM is the only way to go. i recommend watching a few youtube's the first time you do it it's a little stressful getting the mirrors out without breaking them. i have done it 3 times and none broke.
Yea, I seen a few. Both with different methods, suction cup or tilt down with a little screw driver. Haven't decided what route to take yet.

i did the tilt it to get the clips and release the mirror. i used a long screwdriver and pried directly on the clip to get it to release then kept tension on it. all you gotta do is get the top 2.
Sounds like a plan. I'll try when I all the parts in.

All night editions are black diamond crystal. I have the lowly Big Horn night edition and that's the ones I have.
Yea, they must not follow any rules there. These mirrors have the same finish on both parts. Different from the images above.

That's weird. I know the BTS versions so use more of a flat black, but I thought others didn't.

may be just me, i don't care what package it has i want body color mirror caps. my bighorn had the black plastic i replaced them with body color my laramie had chrome i replaced them with body color.......if i had metallic black truck night edition i would most definitely put body color mirror caps on it.

The sport Big Horn and regular big horn come with unpainted caps but when I was looking at trucks the Night Edition big horns had painted caps.
