are 295/60R20 $300 better than 285/60R20?

I just priced some Open Country ATIIIs in 285/60r20 (stock size for my '22 3500) and 295/60r20 and the latter were about $310 more. Granted the load/speed ratings were higher (125R vs 126S) and the 295s are .41" wider. Don't really care about the load/speed ratings being better and I'm not sure I'll be able to see the extra half inch in width, but would like to hear what others that have been there, done that have to say.

That’s a big price swing for less than a half inch. If that half inch is really what you want, you can get the 285’s and a set of hubcentric 1/2” spacers and still be under the $310 price difference.
