If you have the rear heated/ventilated seats In your truck I am looking for some help. I’m trying to find the can id and message as well as the Lin bus slave and master responses from the switch itself.
If anyone does any type of can/lin sniffing would be awesome if you could hook me up with a can/lin dump from the time your truck is started, hit the buttons and turned off.
I have the limited seats from a 5th gen but obviously they aren’t compatible with the 4th. I’m trying to keep factory switches, but I need to build a gateway between the switch(Lin message) and the module(can ihs message) to interface outside of the bcm. There are specific id’s and messages sent and received from each other but without having even a “wake up” message to the module it is probably impossible(or just way over my head) to get the messages needed.
I know a lot of people don’t really do this kind of stuff. BUT if someone does and has this feature in their truck, I would owe you a million if I could get this to work!
