Hello All!
been debating/shopping/searching the tonneau cover options and wondering if anyone has tried the "Rugged Cover" hard folding tonneau cover from Rugged Liner? http://ruggedliner.com/tonneau-covers/hard-folding-tonneau-cover/
or their very similar "E-series hard cover" http://ruggedliner.com/tonneau-covers/e-series-hard-folding-rugged-cover/
it's down to either one of these two or the Lomax. I like the looks of both, though haven't seen either in person. Appreciate any user experiences!

Thanks!

I got the Lomax and have been happy with the look, the rugged has a plastic textured look that isn’t as clean as the Lomax in my opinion. I really liked the fact that there are no holes or any modifications needed to install, but there have been a few times I wished the cover completely flipped up like the bakflip covers do. 2E567094-F961-45BB-AE47-D41C58DBDFD1.jpeg 057BAEEC-C273-484C-9227-1D8D3E6CC8D9.jpeg F99F44A4-2B03-42D6-BB10-366A5DC26AB3.jpeg 4E5C04E7-642F-4EB5-9958-F5D742F5929B.jpeg

Thought I would close the loop on this.... Rough Country advertised what looks like the same cover as the Rugged Cover for $600.. I ordered.. it arrived fast but sadly it doesn't fit. Looks like a Lomax will be ordered soon. (y)

Have you installed the Lomax saw a YouTube video we’re the seals between the panels would come undone. Look at 3:20
I think there’s a newer version?

Actually received and installed it yesterday, it fits well and looks good. I will have to check out the seams tomorrow.

The seams look fine. Though only have about 10 days of driving around and being in the elements. The cover I got was made in August so not sure if there was a change in mfg. process from the cover in the video or not. Hopefully it will hold up for the long haul.

i wanted to share pics of the seams on my Lomax cover. As you can see from the screenshots of the video where the seams seemed to be peeling or separating, they look like they were attached between the 2 panels with some sort of glue, it simply looks like it started to separate in those areas and that caused the gap. On my panel that was made in August of 2018, you can see that the rubber strip between the panels is now actually sandwiched between the frame rails on the cover lid and aluminum top, it looks like they just moved the frame to the edge to cover the strip and prevent it from separating. lomax pic1.jpg Untitled-1.jpg IMG_6282.JPG IMG_6283.JPG
