I was looking at Falkens, but while shopping around I found these at discount tire. They look great and the online reviews seem to be good. Like 300 bucks cheaper to go that route.

I’m running them on my truck. I like them. I haven’t really used them off-road yet though

Report back with mileage. I always get the lowest mileage with goodyear.

That is exactly what I size I am looking to put on. I watched pretty much all the youtube review videos and seems like most get 40>50K out of them. Seemed people with 1 tons who tow a lot get less, but frankly you have that issue with pretty much any tire. The off-road reviews looked to be good as well. One did mention they pickup and throw rocks pretty bad, but i am not on gravel all that much. Figure if I can get 35 or 40k miles out of them that would be about 4 years for me. Kind of need the $400 bucks that is the difference now. People spoke highly of the discount tire warranty as well. You just have to hold onto the warranty certs and rotate them like you should.

Here is the before and after. Overall pretty happy. Slight rub when backing up at full lock. I need to find that and fix it. Tires are slightly louder than the factory ones, but i kind of expected some noise. To me it looks way better. On road handling is more truck like now, but also kind of expected that bumping up to larger heavier tires.

I recently got these tires and have done about 3k on them so far. They are noisier than my stock Bridgestones but nothing bad at all. I went from 275/55/20 to 275/65/18 and TRX wheels. I think they look great but honestly i really don't do much if any off-roading so next time i may go for something more highway friendly. I lost about 1-2mpg going to these tires while keeping the overall OD nearly the same. Overall I'm happy and would recommend them.

These tires have a very bad section width to tread width ratio. Not good for spirited driving. Would even want a better ratio for sand and mileage.

Which tire in your option has a good width to tread ratio?

Something like a BFG AT has a good ratio. The GY tread corner is extremely rounded as well. Obviously. a Super Swamper has a positive tread width ratio, but I won't be daily driving those! I will probably go with a Cooper or Michelin next.

Sounds good. I like the looks of these and they drive relatively good so far. Tread pattern seems awfully similar to the GY Territory Ats that come stock on the TRX. Though my next ones i may switch to Michelins or the Firestone Destination XT. I do very little off-roading, really no need for me to have these other than I like the look.
