Anyone running V6 etorque w/ aftermarket tires?

I was heavily considering purchasing a used ecodiesel (2016-2018) for the MPG then came across the v6 etorque and am very intrigued. I’ve read through posts here and while few report 17mpg, it seems many report closer to 20 average.

With that said, is anyone running the v6 etorque with a lift and/or larger tires? If/when I make a purchase, I’d like to put a 3.5” lift along with 33” tires. How will this change the mpg?

Although I do not have this setup, from what I have seen on other trucks, the tires would probably decrease the MPG by about 3 MPG and the lift a bit more due to added weight and aerodynamics. Purely a guess but I would say you would lose about 4 MPG.

I plan on getting some 33" tires soon, for science purposes of course. Looking at 275/60R20 Falken Wildpeak AT3W, since they are closest to my stock Goodyear Wrangler Fortitude's rev/mi, paired with 20x9" Fuel Rippers and Rough Country Speedometer Calibrator.

I will report back, for science.

I am waiting until I wear out my current tires before lift/tires. 30k+ miles a year. I currently average 23mpg with 3.55 gears @ an average of 70mph. If I drop to 60-65 I can get up to around 26 mpg a tank.

It has been about 2 weeks now that I put on 33" tires with after market wheels. I hover around 21.5 mpg combined. Conclusively, it will decrease your mpg by at least 1-1.5 mpg. This is my daily driver, so my result is formed from 45 minutes of highway traffic one way, 45 minutes of highway traffic back, and a lot of city driving. Like @Jakecukich mentioned, results will depend on how you drive your truck (i.e. the V6 does not perform well at higher speeds over 70 mph).
