Hi, I have a 2020 Ram 2500 and recently had a leveling kit and 33 1/2 in tires put on my 20in rims. I've noticed my truck is taking longer to shift down and my gas mileage has drastically decreased. Is this normal, does it have anything to do with the new wheels or installation? I appreciate any advice.

Welcome to the forum.

Yes it does. Any other info on truck? I see it's a 2500. I have a 1500.

Bigger tires will lower mpgs. As far as shifting, I did not notice anything affecting shifting on mine when I changed tire to AT from the stock Bridgestones.

You can change your tire size in the BCM with a few gizmos so your speedometer is accurate. I know AlfaOBD can do this as I own it.

Some have said leveling changes aerodynamics of the truck and that can contribute to loss of mpg as well.

These trucks ride a fine line when it comes to mpg. You have to be able to live with the changes of what's acceptable for your use.

There are threads on here discussing these topics. Start there. I'm sure others will help guide you if you get stuck.

Lots of threads in this already. Get your computer updated for the correct tires size and it will "fix" most of your issues. Your gas mileage will still take a hit, but won't be as bad once your computer has the correct tire size to calculate it with
