Anyone else unhappy with the Eibach setup?

Long story short, I evaluated all the leveling options earlier this year and settled on the eibach. I have a 2019 rebel with low 30 k miles. I wanted to replace the shocks while leveling.

For those that don't know, the Eibach lift works by adjusting the preload in the springs. As a mechanical engineer, I immediately thought this was a bad idea, but rolled with it anyway. You can pretty much tell this is what was done by the ride. Any rough roads or bumps are jarring since the suspension seems maxed out.

To top things off the lift was not enough to clear 35x12s without rubbing. I even trimmed and still rub at full turn which is embarrassing in parking lots.

Anyway. Anyone else regret this kit? I am thinking of putting on a proper lift at this point hoping for a better ride. Is 4inch enough to not rub?? Any feedback would be appreciated.

12 wides are to big if you have them mounted on stock wheels. u need at least a 0 offset wheel or run a hub centric spacer. many have leveled their trucks and can clear 35's but the width is where your trouble is at.

tons of info on good lift kits out there just do a simple google search and you will find endless info on the forum to help u decide on what you want to spend the coin on.

I'm running the Eibach Pro-Truck Sports and can concur they are a bit stiff.
I initially set the front at Clip #1 (zero lift) with ORP springs for a 1" lift..and they rode almost like stock but with better handling.
I reset them recently to Clip #2 (0.6" lift) with ORP springs for a 1.6" lift..and I love the perfect level look now, but that extra preload is noticeable to me..mainly the road cracks & bumps at highway speeds now slightly jolt the truck..whereas before there was no notice of them really.
Handles better, but a bit harsher for sure. I'm planning to upgrade my wheel/tires to a 0 offset with an extra 1" of sidewall to get a little for comfort over those cracks/bumps, but if no change I'll probably swap to Fox PE 2.5s.
I will say..my wife commented that she's impressed at how much better the ride & handling are now over when stock/new..so maybe I'm nit-picking a bit.

As @1BADRAMLIMITED said, the issue with the rubbing is the width of the tires(12.5 in) on stock wheels, not the diameter(35 in). If you want to keep the stock Rebel wheels without rubbing or running spacers there are multiple 35 inch tire sizes available that are narrower and will be fine on stock wheels. The size I’m going to get on my next round of tires is a 285/75/r18. These are essentially 34.8/11.2/r18s and will allow me to keep my stock Rebel wheels while still giving the height of a 35 inch tire(many of which don’t actually measure out to 35 inches).

There are many options at this tire size, and a fair amount of people on here run them on their trucks, you should have plenty of clearance with the Eibach kit. That’s annoying it’s not performing as expected though, the stock Rebels ride so well I can understand your frustration in “upgrading” and not improving the ride quality.

I am not on stock wheels. I have 10 inch wide Fuels. They rub when I fully turn. So increasing the offset with a spacer is going to make things worse. Should I got with a slight narrower tire?
