Anyone else hope this platform is successful?

This video does a good job explaining the Ram (and Scout) and explaining why you would or wouldn't want to get one. Most interesting part for me was that Ramcharger is less fuel efficient than regular Ram when running 100% on generator.

 
For the "whole house power" talk, I think you can use the charging port as the power source, and it wouldnt be running constantly, it would run power off the battery and start the truck in order to recharge the battery when needed. For the questions about can the generator power the motors directly, according to the interview with the engineer going around, yes it can run the motors and charge the batteries at the same time, this was done (again according to the engineer) in the event of a catastrophic battery failure / emergency, you can still drive the truck.
