Anybody having any issues with the 2025 1500 showing new text messages all of a sudden?

my 2025 Limited all of a sudden stopped showing new text messages on the screen. it worked when the truck was new but after the software update it seemed to stop displaying them.
I have tried everything I know to do and I have double-checked settings in both the U connect and my phone both are set to show them. it's just odd to me that it worked then it doesn't.

GM, Stellantis and others have been in the news regarding privacy policies. When you have your vehicle show your texts, GM and Stellantis have access to all of them and store them. But, they don't have the security to protect your data and will share your information. Remember, the dealer probably set up your vehicles for your phone, so they just accepted ALL the warnings to get you set up and accepted the one that says they can share your data.
