Any way to stop this from happening?

In early morning or late evening the DS mirror gets tinted as if the sun were blazing in it or headlights were blinding me from the rear. It won't do it when it should and does when it shouldn't. Any way to turn it off?

My truck has probably done it a handful of times and never when actually needed 🙃

Mine always dims wheb it's supposed to. Makes driving at night so much better. Wish the passenger side had it too. I have noticed it at other times with no headlights, but it's usually right after starting the truck in dimly lit areas, but will go back to normal fairly quickly.

Mine will do it in the morning but goes off quickly. It does come on automatic at night like it should and my eyes do prefer it on.
