I'm a ham and wondering if there are any here that have installed mobile units/antenna's to the 2019. Let me see what you got.....

I am still waiting on my RAM to arrive at the dealership. I don't want to bother my salesperson, and I am not sure that this site can track order any longer, so I am blind as to when it will potentially arrive. To the point - MAGNUM makes headache racks for trucks, and specifically for the 2019 RAM. The top of the rack is slotted and accepts MAGNUM accessories. One of these accessories is an antenna mounting tab. I plan on buying this headache rack, and ordering the tabs to mount my antennas to the truck. I have no idea on how to get the coax from there to inside the cab, but I will worry about that when I get the vehicle.

I previously had an early Tundra and what I did there was a front fender NMO mount. I liked the configuration, and never felt like I was seriously compromising my signal by having it up front. When I bought my Ram I decided I will do the same thing. I bought my mount from here. I have done a test fit, looks good but no final install yet. I am still deciding where to put my head unit. I have a Kenwood D710, considering using the 3d printer to print a mount that will drop into the dash recess or something like that, but undecided as of yet.

Has anyone added an amp to their CB in the new ram? I currently have my old cobra 25 which does about 25 watts with no interference on electronics.
Thought about putting my old 29 in the truck that’s mated to a gray 150. Not sure if it will interfere with anything. It used to kick off my cruise control on a mid 2000 company car I had. Plus finding a place to mount radio w this big console
