The idea for this thread was thrown out by another member in a different thread. I thought it would nice to hear from those who have NOT had any leaks from the rear window assembly. The leaking window has become such a dark stain on such a great truck I think we need to hear from those who have had no problems. Also, if you have not had any leaks, throw in the year and mileage please.

I'll start. 2020 Rebel - 6300 miles. Third brake light leak (just a drop) but no actual window leaks..... yet.

Thank you!

11000 miles here no leak. But I did buy a demo with 4000 miles on it. So maybe it was already replaced? I have wondered this. Oh and no dead battery on the etorque either. 🤔

No leak on my 2019. Build date was Jan 2019, took delivery in July 2019. Taken off-road on some bumpy trails, so far so good.

What's interesting is that my wife has a 2020 Silverado, they have an even bigger rear window leak issue. Makes sense since both FCA and GM use the same two window suppliers. Looks like Ford dodged a bullet by having a completely different window design.

Either way, neither of our trucks have the cracks/leaks yet.

2020 Ram 1500 Laramie - 6800 mi, built July 2020 - no leaks
Both sit outside in the downpours of Houston with no issues.

Previous Rams in my extended Family
(Never have had even one leak)

2019 Ram 1500 Lone Star
2018 Ram 1500 Longhorn
2016 Ram 1500 Lonestar
2014 Ram 1500 Longhorn

And numerous other Rams and Dakotas going back to 1988.
None of them were garage queens and sat in the weather of Alaska and Texas with zero leaks.

2019 Rebel, 26k miles, and tons of offroading. No cracks or leaks from rear slider or third brake light. I did upgrade to the OEM LED third brake light from the 2021 models about 4k miles ago. Has been through one snow storm and several pressure washes with no leaks so far.

My truck's stats are in my sig. I think it had a crack when I bought it, but forgot to check for that at the dealer and didn't see it until 100 miles or so. I have been checking it for leaks often. I often run out to the truck in the pouring rain with a flashlight to hunt for any leaks. So far nothing and I'm at 4000 miles now (knock on wood).
