I am trying to find the correct Mopar antifreeze for my 2020 Ram 1500 3.6L. I just need to add a little. The only Mopar I find is part # 68163849AB and it says on the Mopar website it isn't for my vehicle. I did a live chat on the Mopar website and they couldn't tell me either. They said the part # I just listed is for diesel engines.

I recently got this for a flush on my 2018 Durango. I checked the 2023 Ram manual and it was listed for that as well. Its concentrate so you need to mix it 50/50 with distilled water.

go with pre-mixed so you dont need to dilute and go on amazon, its cheaper. dont buy from dealership but you can get the part # from them.

below is the link

Go with the concentrate since it does the exact same thing for nearly half the cost. A gallon of concentrate gives you 2 gallons of antifreeze, but a gallon of pre-mix only gives you 1 gallon of antifreeze.

Also, there is really no reason to buy the more expensive Mopar brand of antifreeze as it's about the most expensive brand. Other manufactures produce antifreeze that is more that suitable for new Ram trucks and at a lower cost.

you are most certainly correct but most guys wont want to mix themselves, 20$ is not bad considering it is OEM quality.

I believe most "guys" buy the concentrate. Also, what is "OEM quality" and how is it better than Prestone or Valvoline quality when they all meet manufacture specifications? Do you know for sure that MOPAR antifreeze is not produced on exactly the same assembly line as a less expensive Prestone or Valvoline product that is several dollars cheaper?

I actually prefer the concentrate as it's cheaper per diluted gallon though not as convenient as you said. But when flushing the cooling system out its a must because you won't be able to evacuate all the water before adding the mix.
