Anti Theft for 2022' 1500 Limited

Unfortunately I recently had my first break in and it just happened to be my new to me and favorite vehicle ever. :( so take this as a warning, because I never thought it would happen to me as well. These thieves are getting bolder and broke in while I was at work, right in front of cameras and everything. but they apparently know that cameras are no good and police will not follow up with it. (Because I am watching that in real time). Doesn't take long either, I have a video that the building owners sent me from another building across the street. Took him less than 30 seconds to get in and out with what could be a wallet. So do yourself a favor, get some kind of deterrent to save yourself from buying windows. Anti-theft is great, not knocking it, it would defiantly be 17 times more devastating to find the truck gone. But once they are in and find they are unable to take it, you still have to get a new window.

I got a wheel lock, easy to see it nice and bold. I know, I seen the video with the guy who drilled through it in seconds. But it is more of a visual, the other thing I got was this Keep Tech device.

Amazon - Keep Technologies.

Had to turn the sensitivity up, but now it goes off anytime anyone gets close to the windows. Better than setting up bear traps in the back seat or a proximity flame thrower under the truck like I originally wanted. Last thing I want is to spend the rest of my life in prison on attempted murder charges because they break my window.

It requires a subscription, but it sends recordings of all alerts direct to your phone. GPS and all that, but it requires this tag so if it does not detect that tag, it goes off when something enters the vehicle. So if they decide to jam the signal to the GPS and climb in, it will set off a siren at 120 dbs.

I was so used to driving the Terrain that I didn't think there would be much of a difference. However, it seems some of the intent to breaking into a truck is to look for some kind of firearm. Hopefully this will prevent this from happening to someone else.

-Stay safe out there.

Used a battery kill switch on an '05 Duramax, but on the newer truck that can be a problem.
Just open the hood and pull the starter/fuel pump relay/fuse?
