Android Auto is showing the wrong location and timezone

I have a 2024 RAM and have tried this with two Android phones (one a pixel 8 pro, the other a kyocera android phone).

Problems:

• The timezone changes when I connect my phone to the truck.
  • It changes my phones timezone.
  • The time on the truck changes to the other timezone too.
  • WORKAROUND: Set the timezone on the phone to not update automatically (see photo).
    • This stops the time from changing but the location still gets messed with.
• Anytime I connect ANY android device to the truck, the maps start at Tokyo, then update to my current location.
