Hi all,

Quick question: what is the amp output from the etorque system? A typical car alternator is 100-200 amps at 12 volts. WHat is the output of this system? Wondering about running an inverter.

Thanks!

Etorque is 48v, so current is likely 1/4 of what a 12v system produces.

I guess my question is: how many 12v amps can I draw reliably off the 12v system in the truck while it’s running. For instance, right off the battery.

From your powerpoint it appears to be this: Voltage set point 13.3V-14.7V depending on temperature.  3000W No system deration constraints  1850W Extreme hot continuous idle generation

So the lower number, 1850 which I think is fair for just idle generation would be 154 amps at 12 volts. Not great not horrible. Thank you.
