First post here have found a lot of useful information but can’t find the answers for my next step in upgrading my base 6 speaker stereo. It’s also my first time doing any car audio.
I’ve added a ap4-ch41 and a 4 channel amp that drives 4ohms speakers my question is can I run 4ohm speakers in the dash since I’m running an aftermarket amp or with they be to loud and need resistors?

I currently have 4ohm speakers in dash and doors with no issues they blend in well with each other. Also not sure what type of sorcery occurs in the factory wiring that I still get 4ohm at the amp instead of 8ohm or 2ohm. I do have an inline 1200khz cross over on my dash speakers to avoid sending the lower frequencies to them.
