Amp Research Bed Extender

OK, I love the extender, but when I hit a bump, I hear it bounce in the bed and would like to cushion the bounce to try to reduce or eliminate the noise. I know, first world problem.

Anyway, has anyone found something good to stick on the two vertical pieces that are resting in the bed? I currently am using some foam weatherstripping. It's stayed on, but doesn't really do much for the noise. It's possible that the noise is coming from the bed extender banging off my hard tonneau cover.
