Many have done it. Do a search and you will find many posts. Paraoptics makes a retrofit kit too.

I was thinking about picking up that same fiber optic kit. Didn't know if it would look crappy or not. Would you be able to post a pic of the full dash with it lit up?

You can with the Paraoptics kit. I'm looking to do their new RGB kit on my Bighorn this spring.
