Hey y’all
I saw these things a while back and I’m curious is it possible to modify the existing headlights to have amber accent lights instead of white? I don’t want to have to use my phone to have this feature, I just want the existing LED’s to be amber.

There’s a company called Retro Customz that offers this mod. I can’t remember the exact price but I thought it was something crazy high like $700-1000 just to modify the existing lights!

There are two options to do somethign similar.

Option A: you can buy the Diode Dynamic RGB boards for your stock headlights. This requires opening the headlights up and replacing the OEM boards with the RBG ones. You can then change the color of the top and bottom LED strips. https://www.diodedynamics.com/2019-2021-ram-1500-midline-multicolor-led-boards.html

Option B: You can use Tazer DT to modify the lights that are use for DRL lights. You can tell the computer to use your turn signals (amber) as the DRL lights and turn off the white strips. since your turn signal is only the bottom strip of the light, you will only have that as your drl not top and bottom lie your picture or like the DD package would do. https://www.zautomotive.com/product/z_tzr_ram/#security-bypass-modules
