My last truck came with side molding from the factory which I am convinced saved me a lot of heartache from door dings. I am looking for something similar to put on my new Flame Red, Crew Cab Ram. I will color match whatever I get.

These below, look “okay” but I can’t find pictures from anyone who has deleted the RAM lettering from the side, which to me is the optimal position on the body.

These below seem cool, but I can’t find any pictures of them on trucks that aren’t completely clad in other “Protective plastic” so I can’t tell if they would be gaudy if color matched. I’m also afraid it’s too low to protect the door from most door dings.

Anyone have experience or pictures of these color matched?

Anyone have any opinions?

The Air Design ones look terrible, I would rather have door dings and use touchup paint then have that on my truck but to each their own.

I'm by no means a Photoshop expert but here is the picture without the Ram lettering on it to give you an idea from the link you provided.

Door dings will happen no matter what siding you get, a grocery cart for example would be a differnet spot then a regular door.
