Aftermarket tail lights?

I'd really like some mostly black tail lights and I have googled a ton of phrases and nothing pops up. Anyone hear or know anything that might be in the works? Was going to try that VHT stuff but idk if I wanna "ruin" my brand new lights.

That's the look I want! Is the red led still bright at night or not really? I like the way that looks at night. How much did that run you if I can ask.

It’s bright enough. These are daylight pics. I’ll send you some tonight. These were done by smokedouttaillights.com he does great work. I paid 230 for all 3

It was about a 1.5 week turnaround for me and I’m out of DFW and he is in Cali. Other people have had theirs painted too locally so I’m sure you can find a paint shop who does. He offers different levels of darkness which involves him using more or less coats of the smoked clear that he uses to darken them. He does good prep work to smooth the lights prior to painting so they have that great glass like finish. Really top notch work.

Bringing this topic back to life, any chance you can post the evening/night photos of them?

Going to have some time soon where I could mail them off and not need the truck for a week or so, just want to make sure it’s still bright enough.

I forgot to take some when it was dark and it’s at the dealer currently getting my headliner replaced. These is the only one I have with them lit up but this was in the day time.
